About the role

As our Marketing Associate, you’ll work closely with the founders, traveling to major events, pitching our brand, and establishing Helpdesk as the go-to solution for instant, expert help. From strategy to content creation, media outreach, and campaign execution, you’ll lead our entire marketing journey, using a mix of traditional and digital channels—from billboards to TikTok—to engage audiences worldwide.

This is an intense, high-stakes role where you’ll be the only person dedicated solely to marketing from day one, and you’ll be expected to handle it all. The ideal candidate isn’t just passionate but also resilient, with a proven ability to work independently, think creatively, and act as an influential force within a lean team.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Wants to work in an extremely hands-on environment, directly with company founders.
• Is excited to travel and represent the company at events, helping build our brand in real time.
• Has extensive knowledge of the tech industry both locally in the UAE/GCC and internationally, with the insight to drive strategies that resonate globally.
• Understands the demands and excitement of working in a startup and sees the value in building a career from the ground up, with potential for significant growth in both rank and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Building: Work with the founders to create and grow our brand identity from scratch.
• Social Media Management: Develop and execute campaigns across all platforms, from TikTok to LinkedIn, with an eye on engaging diverse, global audiences.
• Event Marketing: Represent Helpdesk at major tech events and conferences worldwide, increasing visibility and generating interest.
• Advertising Strategy: Lead our advertising efforts, combining traditional methods (e.g., billboards) with digital marketing to optimize reach.
• Content Creation: Produce engaging and relevant content, including written, visual, and video content, that communicates our brand and services effectively.
• Growth Strategy: Design and implement growth strategies to build our user base and generate brand awareness.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience Abroad: Exposure to international markets and trends, preferably with time spent living or working outside the UAE.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of tech industry trends in both the UAE/GCC and international markets.
• Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms, digital advertising, and content creation.
• Adaptability and Initiative: A proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Multilingual: Native proficiency in English is a must, Arabic or French is highly preferred, any other European or North East Asian languages is a plus.

Compensation:

5000-6000 AED/month. We know this may not match what established companies offer, but as a startup at the beginning of its journey, we’re looking for someone who’s driven by growth and the chance to make an impact. As the company scales and if you excel, there’s considerable room for salary growth over a relatively short timeframe.
