Overview

The Director of Marketing at Inception will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing team. By implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging data insights, this role will contribute to the success of marketing initiatives and support Inception’s growth objectives. The Director of Marketing Operations will ensure that the marketing team operates at peak performance, driving greater impact and ROI from marketing investments.

The opportunity

The Director of Marketing will lead the development and implementation of marketing processes, tools, and technologies to optimize the marketing function. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing operations, excellent analytical abilities, and a strategic mindset.

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platforms utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

The Director of Marketing at Inception will be responsible for overseeing the marketing operations function, ensuring efficient and effective execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing technology, data analytics, process optimization, and performance measurement. The Director of Marketing Operations will work closely with the senior marketing leadership team to drive operational excellence and support the company's marketing goals.

  • Develop and execute a marketing technology tech strategy aligned with Inception’s goals and objectives
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of marketing technology initiatives, processes and workflows.
  • Define and implement processes for lead management, lead scoring, and lead nurturing and integration into sales to optimize conversion rates and accelerate sales cycles.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing technology initiatives and provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of budgets, staffing, and other resources to ensure efficient execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the reporting, managing systems, and program management of key projects, and drive better efficiencies within our marketing organization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization throughout the marketing function including the procurement processes.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to members of the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.


Qualifications

Skills and attributes for success

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on B2B technology marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
  • A background in Agile marketing is a plus
