Who We Are

GlobalData is a specialist information services business on a mission to help our clients decode the future, make better decisions and reach more customers. Using our unique data, expert analysis and innovative solutions, we create trusted intelligence on the world’s largest industries for thousands of companies, government organisations and industry professionals via one fully integrated platform.

MEED is GlobalData’s regional powerhouse for the Middle East and emerging Asia-Pacific markets. With a heritage of over 60 years in business media and an ambitious portfolio of C-suite summits, industry awards, webinars, research-led campaigns and bespoke content marketing solutions, MEED connects governments, investors and enterprise leaders to unlock commercial growth across the region.

Although based in our ME hub this role sits within GlobalData Media’s global marketing team, leading the regional marketing effort for MEED and our wider media division across MENA and APAC.

Why join GlobalData and MEED?

This is a pivotal moment in MEED’s evolution. As GlobalData forges a unified media division across its business network, we are investing in bold, creative marketing that builds brands, fuels commercial growth, and elevates client campaigns through data, content and events. You’ll be joining a dynamic, agile, and collaborative team, with access to senior leaders and cross-functional experts spanning the UK, MENA and APAC.

Dubai is our regional hub — and your jumping-off point to work with emerging opportunities across Asia-Pacific. You’ll contribute to multi-channel campaigns that support everything from flagship summits and awards to client-led thought leadership, working alongside business leaders, strategists, designers, and analysts.

This is a hands-on, highly varied role — a perfect next step for a marketing executive or manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys B2B storytelling, and is ready to grow with an ambitious team.

The Role

As Marketing Executive – MEED Media, you will play a central role in designing and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement across our portfolio of high-value content, events and client solutions.

Reporting locally to the Regional Leader for Media and working closely with the UK-based global marketing team, you will lead campaign planning and delivery across the Middle East and APAC, working directly with clients, analysts, editorial leaders and our commercial teams.

You will shape campaigns that combine data, storytelling, and smart targeting to reach C-suite audiences across construction, finance, energy, technology and infrastructure. You will also act as a local brand ambassador at key events — capturing speaker soundbites, briefing PR and media partners, and supporting the amplification of client content.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Campaign planning and execution: Build and deliver integrated marketing campaigns (email, social, paid, media, on-site) aligned to awards, events, thought leadership, and commercial goals.
  • Client collaboration: Act as a campaign lead for key marketing solutions clients, liaising with account directors and clients to deliver high-quality execution and reporting.
  • Project management: Build timelines, content calendars, asset plans and activation schedules to keep activity on track across a diverse portfolio.
  • Social and content amplification: Support the amplification of both MEED-led and client-generated content through creative social media execution, media partnerships and internal promotion.
  • Internal Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with editors, producers, analysts and UK-based marketers to shape effective messaging and extract market insights for use in campaign content.
  • External Stakeholder engagement: Identify & collaborate with external media partners and industry associations to enhance brand image for the GD MENA business and MEED.
  • Performance tracking and optimisation: Use tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Analytics to track, report and optimise marketing performance.
  • Event and Awards marketing: Drive award nominations through ABM-style campaigns, and support onsite activity including media capture, PR coordination, and live posting at C-suite events.
  • Brand and visual execution: Work with design and content teams to ensure assets align with our brand and the expectations of a senior executive audience.
  • Global collaboration: Share insights, templates and campaign results with the wider GlobalData marketing team to help drive consistency and innovation across the group.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within events, media, publishing, or content marketing.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills — able to juggle multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Confident in collaborating with senior leaders and external clients in a professional customer-centric approach.
  • Demonstrable campaign experience across channels (email, LinkedIn, media, PR, onsite).
  • Experience using marketing automation and CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Experience with CMS, webinar tools, and/or design software a plus.
  • Familiarity working with awards management systems like Awardstage, Evissio, etc and website CMS e.g. WordPress
  • Strong commercial acumen — understands how marketing drives revenue and is motivated by results.
  • Creative thinker with excellent written English and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, flexible, calm under pressure — a team player who is eager to learn and grow.
  • Thinks out of the box and is a creative problem solver.

Why this role matters

This is more than a marketing job — it’s a front-row seat at the intersection of business intelligence, content, and C-suite engagement in some of the world’s most dynamic markets. You’ll play a direct role in how we tell our story, support our clients, and expand our influence across the Middle East and Asia Pacific. If you're looking for a role that blends creativity, strategy, client impact, and career progression — we'd love to meet you.
