Master Technician - Construction Equipment

Job Purpose

To perform complex diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of construction equipment while supporting junior technicians and ensuring service quality, safety, and efficiency in workshop and field operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures and repair complex faults on CE equipment (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems)
• Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections as per OEM standards
• Support and guide junior technicians during job execution
• Prepare accurate service reports and ensure proper job card completion
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in work area
• Report parts requirements and assist in root cause analysis of recurring issues
• Provide feedback to technical team and OEMs for product improvements
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical/Automotive/Heavy Equipment
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years in hands-on repair of construction or heavy equipment
  
  

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic diagnostics
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Use of diagnostic tools and service software (e.g., CANbus, telematics)
• Safety-conscious with methodical work habits
• Basic proficiency in reporting and documentation
• English communication skills; UAE driving license preferred
