The Material Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials within the organization and ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently.
Job Responsibility
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Work closely with production teams to schedule material deliveries according to production needs.
- Resolve any issues related to materials, such as quality problems or delays in delivery.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives by optimizing material usage and reducing waste.
- Monitor material consumption and prepare reports for management.
- Proven experience in material coordination or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
