Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will be stationed in the Diesel Generator showroom and will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, showcasing generator features, assisting in sales with accurate technical knowledge, and maintaining operational showroom units. This role acts as the bridge between the engineering team and clients, ensuring the proper representation and understanding of the products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Sales Support:

• Explain technical features, specifications, and benefits of diesel generators to customers
• Assist in the sales team in preparing proposals and quotations with accurate technical details.
• Recommend suitable generator models based on customer requirements
  
  

Customer Interaction:

• Attend walk-in clients and provide hands-on product demonstrations.
• Address technical inquiries and concerns with professional and clear communication
• Provide after-sales guidance on operation, maintenance, and installation
  
  

Showroom Management:

• Ensure diesel generators in the showroom are clean, operational, and properly displayed
• Conduct regular checks and start-ups to ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Maintain documentation for showroom unit specifications and updates
  
  

Coordination with Technical Team:

• Coordinate with Engineering and Service department regarding customer technical requirements
• Stay updated on the latest product development and upgrades
  
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain customer visit logs, inquiry reports, and feedback forms
• Assist in creating product brochures, technical data sheets, and visual aids for customer education
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Power Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 Years of experience working with diesel generators, preferably in a customer-facing or showroom role
• Must have strong knowledge in Diesel Generator systems, power solutions, and its related components
• Must be familiar with industry standards and applications for generators.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into understandable solutions for clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills with customer-focused mindset
• Preferably with UAE Driving license
• Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Customer-oriented mindset with professional appearance and attitude
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD or similar tools is a plus
• English proficiency is required; Arabic or other languages is an advantage
