Our Middle East Electrical Sales team are looking for an experienced Mega Projects Business Development Engineer - Manager, to will lead the process of securing new business opportunities, typically in the realm of governmental or complex private mega projects. He or she is responsible for developing and executing win strategies, leading proposal development, and managing the capture process from identification to contract award. The work kicks off long before an RFP is even announced, bridging the gap between business development and proposal teams to guide the pursuit strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Identifying mega business opportunities, assessing their viability, and determining if they align with company's strategic goals
• Creating a comprehensive plan to secure the opportunity, including understanding the client needs, identifying competitive advantages, and developing a compelling proposal
• Leading the creation of proposals, ensuring they are well structured, persuasive and meet the client's requirements
• Working with various internal teams ( sales, engineering, marketing and finance ) to ensure alignment and effective execution of the capture strategy
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the key decision makers and the influencers within the client and consultant organizations
• Overseeing the entire capture process, including tracking progress, managing risks, and making necessary adjustments
• Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and proposal performance for effective implementation of capture strategy
• Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to negotiate T&C's to close the deal
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering - Qualification in Business Administration is a plus
• 10+ years of experience in a similar position
• Experience on Strategic Sales and management of Mega and complex projects
