Job Description

Job Summary:

The MEP Design Coordinator (BIM) is responsible for overseeing the coordination and integration of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) designs using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.

Job Responsibility

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP designs are integrated effectively within the overall building design.
• Utilize BIM software to create, review, and modify MEP models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Identify clashes and conflicts in MEP designs and work with the project team to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop schedules and budgets for MEP design activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in MEP design coordination and BIM technology.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience working with BIM software in MEP design coordination.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and their integration within building designs.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
