Job Description

As a Mixologist at SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, part of the All-Inclusive Collection, you will craft innovative and high-quality cocktails that reflect the bold, playful, and stylish identity of the SO/ brand. You will combine creativity with technical expertise to deliver an exceptional beverage experience, engaging with guests, and elevating the overall bar service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and signature creations, according to established recipes and guest preferences.
• Create visually appealing and innovative cocktails that align with the SO/ brand identity.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, recommending beverages and upselling premium options.
• Maintain full knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, cocktails, and current trends in mixology.
• Manage the bar inventory, restock ingredients, garnishes, and supplies, and report shortages to management.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of the bar area, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain beverage quality and consistency, ensuring standards are met during busy service periods.
• Handle guest feedback, requests, or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as responsible alcohol service laws.
• Train and mentor junior bar staff on beverage preparation, presentation, and service standards.
• Assist in developing seasonal or themed cocktail menus in coordination with the Bar Manager.
• Maintain POS accuracy, process payments when required, and assist in cash handling procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, energetic, and stylish guest experience that reflects the SO/ brand personality.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end bars.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
• Creativity and flair in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Attention to detail, organization, and inventory management skills.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and representing the SO/ brand with style.
