Motion Designer - Info Arab Media (IAM) - #25121

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Motion Designer to join our existing team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Motion designer is responsible for collaborating with the graphics and IAM team on conceptualizing, developing, and executing high quality design that creates competitive advantage for the network.

The selected candidate is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Provide and provide various illustrative, animated, and still graphics solutions for the entities of IAM including new show packages and branding.

• Maintain the graphic identity of IAM.

• Work with the Lead Production Design conceptualizing/brainstorming on project/deliverables based on the Creative Brief or assignment/task.

• Identify and learn new technologies/design techniques and take lead role in sharing knowledge.

• Keep up to date on latest developments in the field and be involved with design organizations.

• Research stock photography, illustration, sound or video-clips as needed.

• Innovates and suggests the usage of graphics for impactful presentation of news stories

• Determines the best way to visually present the channel's news and programs features

• Works closely with the Editorial team to ensure alignment and consistency across the creative content, delivered best suited to the nature of each program

• Produce graphics items of the highest quality using the full range of available media. This will include daily output to tight deadlines as well as more planned items and special requirements such as titles and promos.

• Input ideas, play a role in production planning, give guidance and advice on graphics treatment in terms of production value, visual style and technical viability.

• Employ visual and creative awareness to help achieve highest production values

• To maintain and develop operational and technical standards including the assistance in the planning of programmes and the resolution of technical queries.

• Maintains an archive of images, photos, design templates and previous work products

• 
  A degree in Fine Arts, motion graphics, design, multimedia, or equivalent education or experience is sought.

• A high standard of creative design awareness and capability.

• Demonstrable experience of producing high quality creative graphics for broadcast television.

• High-level knowledge of Desktop graphic systems including Apple Macintosh, Adobe suite, Cinema 4D and other motion graphics application.

• Able to do 2D & 3D animated complex graphics.

• Experience of digital video and audio editing.

• The ability to manage and deliver a design project from brief to completion.

• Able to demonstrate editorial awareness and an understanding of IAM priorities and objectives.

• Able to understand operational, journalistic and production requirements.

• To be able to troubleshoot and ensure the most efficient working practices are achieved.

• Fluent in English and Arabic

• The ability to work fast, accurately and under pressure to tight deadlines.

• Broad knowledge of national & international news & current affairs.

• You will have a sufficient degree of hearing and colour vision required for this post.
