Job Duties

As a Neonatologist, you will provide specialized medical care for premature, low birth weight, and critically ill newborns in various hospitals and specialty care centers. Your job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine and emergency assessments and interventions for newborns
• Providing medical treatment and care for sick or premature infants
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists
• Diagnosing and managing a variety of neonatal conditions and diseases
• Educating parents and families on neonatal care and development
• Conducting research and participating in clinical trials related to neonatal care
  
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and specialization in Neonatology
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a neonatal care setting
• Strong understanding of neonatal diseases, conditions, and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
