KILONEWTONS is seeking a highly skilled NETWORK ADMIN to join our dynamic IT team in DUBAI, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in network administration, strong problem-solving skills, and expertise in managing enterprise-level network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks for optimal performance.
Monitor network security, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and VoIP systems.
Perform regular backups, updates, and disaster recovery planning.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated network issues.
Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
Must-Have Skills & Software Knowledge
Networking Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPN
Hardware: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP Aruba
Security Tools: Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS, SIEM
Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Nagios
Cloud & Virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V
Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
