- Position: Newborn Baby Nurse (Home Care)
As a Newborn Baby Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborns and their mothers in their homes. You will work closely with the family to ensure the health and well-being of the newborn, while also providing support and education to new parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock care for newborns, including feeding, bathing, and changing diapers.
- Monitor the baby's health and development, and report any concerns to the family and healthcare team.
- Educate parents on proper newborn care, including feeding, sleeping, and hygiene.
- Assist with breastfeeding and provide support to mothers who are experiencing difficulties.
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as prescribed by the doctor.
- Keep track of the baby's feeding and sleeping schedules, and maintain accurate records.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for the newborn, ensuring all equipment and supplies are clean and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the family and healthcare team to ensure the best care for the newborn.
- Provide emotional support to new mothers and assist with postpartum recovery.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices and continue professional development through training and education.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Newborn Baby Nurse.
- Valid nursing license in the United Arab Emirates.
- Experience working with newborns and knowledge of best practices in newborn care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to help new mothers and their newborns.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and may require occasional travel to other locations within the country. The working hours may vary, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the newborn and their family.
