Are you a dynamic and experienced E-commerce professional ready to lead our NME (Near and Middle East) cluster? We are seeking an innovative E-commerce Manager to drive online sales growth, optimize the customer journey, and ensure a seamless e-commerce experience across all digital platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in e-commerce management, digital marketing, data analysis, and the ability to negotiate and manage agreements with various customers and accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Strategy Development and Execution:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy for the NME cluster to drive online sales and market share growth across the region with a special focus on UAE, KSA & Egypt.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
    • Identify and capitalize on new e-commerce opportunities and trends within the region.
    • Ensure top awareness of the channel and its integration as part of the omnichannel strategy developed with Marketing, IMC, Trade Marketing

  • Digital shelf management:
  • Oversee the management and optimization of contents across e-commerce platforms to enhance user experience and increase conversion rates.
    • Ensure that product descriptions, images, and other content are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
    • OOS optimization in collaboration with business analyst team and distributors
    • Managing listings and promotion strategy with the distributors
    • Constantly optimize the search strategy
  • Online Campaign Management:
  • Build the activation calendar and implement it coordinating the internal and external stakeholders (distributors, agencies, platforms)
  • Explore new concepts: virtual bundles, gamification etc.…
  • Sales Performance:
    • Track and analyze e-commerce sales performance metrics including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and customer behavior against predefined goals and KPIs. (Using Dunnhumby insights for analysis)
    • Generate regular reports and provide insights to senior management on e-commerce performance and opportunities for improvement.
    • (Data Impact, OOS Report, CATS Reports)
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Manage relationships with third-party e-commerce platforms, vendors, and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
    • Negotiate and manage JBP promotions, and partnerships with various e-commerce platforms and retailers.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and campaign performance.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee e-commerce projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Marketing – Brand Management of 2 brands with a strong footprint on e-commerce:
  • Adapt the global strategy locally with tailored plans for the region: innovation/renovation launches, communications, social media, activations per channel…
  • Manage the innovation pipeline for the region working closely with the Global Team: build business cases (P&L), manage artwork process, coordinate internal stakeholders for the launch
  • Build and implement successful plans across all the touchpoints in partnership with agencies: BTL/ATL with a focus on social media & influencers
  • Market Analysis and Insights:
    • Analyze market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze sales data and market performance to identify growth opportunities for Babybel and Boursin.
  • Brand Strategy and Planning:
    • Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans.
    • Identify key growth opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Plan and execute marketing campaigns with a focus on maximizing impact within limited A&P budgets.
    • Collaborate with the marketing manager to ensure alignment with overall brand objectives and priorities.
  • Product Innovation:
    • Identify roll-out opportunities from other markets
    • Fuel Global teams with local specific needs
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage the marketing budget for Babybel and Boursin, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Monitor and report on budget performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize spend.
  • Brand Communication:
    • Develop and implement brand communication strategies across various channels (digital, social media, in-store).
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning in all marketing materials and activities.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations on brand performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, supply chain) to ensure alignment and support for brand initiatives.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners (agencies, suppliers) to execute marketing plans effectively.
  • Innovation and Creativity:
    • Bring innovative and creative ideas to the table to drive brand growth and differentiation.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve brand strategies.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful execution.
    • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    I. Support the Marketing Manager:
    Provide support to the marketing manager in various tasks and projects as needed.
    Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
    II. Brand Advocacy:
    Act as a brand ambassador for Babybel and Boursin, promoting the brands internally and externally.
    Foster a strong understanding and passion for the brands within the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the NME region.
  • Fluent in English spoken & written, Arabic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior in the NME region.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and optimizing e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration; able to work well with others, share responsibilities, and contribute to team goals.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Proficiency in Criteo, Citrus Ad and other self-served platforms.
