What Youll Be Doing
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for students to identify any health concerns.
- Provide immediate first aid and medical care for students and staff in case of injuries or illnesses.
- Deliver health education programs and administer prescribed medications to students per established protocols.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate health topics into the curriculum and train staff on medication administration.
- Implement health promotion activities and organize health-related events and workshops for the school community.
- Communicate with parents about students health concerns, coordinate follow-up care, and collaborate to obtain necessary health information and consent.
- Collaborate with external healthcare professionals and facilitate referrals to ensure comprehensive student care.
- Maintain accurate student health records and generate reports on health trends and concerns within the school.
- At least 2 years of nurse experience, preferably from school or nursery setting.
- Must have a DHA license
