About the Role:

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring that it meets all regulatory standards while providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will lead a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the highest standards of care and education are consistently delivered. This role requires a strong, passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to making a lasting impact on the nursery and its children.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Manage and motivate a team of educators, providing support, training, and professional development.
  • Ensure the nursery complies with local regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Monitor and manage the nursery’s budget, resources, and staffing requirements.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for both staff and children.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of early years education and child development, ideally with experience in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality education and care to young children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in an international and fast-paced environment.
  • Female candidates preferred, as per employer requirements under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
