Job Overview

The Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the office, including the pantry, dining areas, toilets, and corridors.

This role also includes serving refreshments to clients and management, as well as managing and replenishing office and pantry supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Cleanliness:

Ensure all areas of the office, workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas, are clean and tidy at all times.

Clean and sanitize dining areas, and wash dishes in the pantry regularly.

Empty trash bins, wipe surfaces, and ensure hygiene is maintained throughout the office.

  • Serving Refreshments:

Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to clients, managers during meetings or as required.

Ensure that the pantry is stocked with refreshments and kept in good order.

  • Monitoring Supplies:

Regularly check stock levels of pantry items such as coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and snacks, and ordering office supplies as necessary.

Monitor office supplies like tissues, cleaning products, and toiletries, and coordinate with the admin to reorder when required.

  • Frontdesk Associate:

Act as first point of contact and warmly welcoming visitors, customers, applicants and guest.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in maintaining office cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to clients and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of stock monitoring and inventory management.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
  • Presentable and preferably with bubbly personality.
  • Office equipment knowledge is a plus (Printer, photocopying and file organization)
