MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To offer managerial support to Training Management for both the Airline Operations Center(AOC) and Approved Training Organization (ATO) aspects of the business, encompassing the commercial (revenue-generating) segment of the ATO.
Key Responsibilities
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
To offer managerial support to Training Management for both the Airline Operations Center(AOC) and Approved Training Organization (ATO) aspects of the business, encompassing the commercial (revenue-generating) segment of the ATO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the administration of the AOC and ATO and advising on staffing requirements for the AOC and ATO.
- Prepares budget forecasts/plans for the Training Department as directed by the Head of Crew Training, and in coordination with area Managers (i.e., CFI, EBT-M, CTKI, CRM/HF Training Manager, and VP Cabin Crew Training)
- Exercises high-level administrative authority in overseeing and controlling all aspects of the electronic training system used by the Training Department for the management of training forms, resources, and records.
- Manages and oversees all interactions with external customers, including third-party contacts and requests for courses or services, by facilitating sales, course planning and managing logistics.
- Provides and manages the necessary service contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLA), or Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), to back the courses sold to third party customers.
- Establishes and manages streamlined processes for collecting payments from external customers, by validating pre-requisites for all customers (internal or external), prepare of customer training documentation, as required.
- Calculates and documents course costs, profit margins, and manage comprehensive records and statistics for all delivered courses and payments received.
- Manages the flydubai Training Centre website and handle all associated social media advertising efforts linked to the website.
- Supports the Training Department's management in implementing both short-term and long-term projects related to Training Administration.
- Maintains, reviews, and updates relevant sections of the Operations Manual Part D, ATO Manual, and the Crew Training Processes and Procedures Manual within the purview of the Training Administration team.
- Coordinates and with the Crew Training team to address the department's day-to-day operational needs.
- Serves as the primary liaison for ongoing and regular communication between Training Management and the Instructors group, and handles applications from candidates interested in instructor positions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facilitating communication between Training Management and other departments as needed for departmental operational purposes.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes meetings and other events as requested by Training Management, while also ensuring meticulous record-keeping of these events, including minutes of meetings and attendance sheets.
- Maintains all necessary records as specified by Training Management for auditing purposes, monitoring the validity of all relevant licenses, ratings, endorsements, qualifications, and approvals for training courses, training staff, trainers, facilities, equipment, devices, and resources, and coordinates the revalidation process with relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
- Experience in aviation administrative managing capacity.
- MS Office Suite (with a focus on Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access).
