As a Operations Manager, you will drive strategic initiatives to balance supply and demand, implement product improvements, and streamline operational efficiency in the UAE. This high-impact role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cross-functional collaboration to shape the future of mobility in the region.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Optimize Marketplace: Analyze data to understand marketplace dynamics and rider/driver behavior, identifying opportunities for improvement and informing key decisions in the UAE.
- Drive Innovation: Develop and implement creative solutions to operational challenges, continuously improving existing processes and designing new ones.
- Lead Product Initiatives: Manage the launch and optimization of new product offerings in the UAE, ensuring successful adoption and impact.
- Leverage Data: Build and utilize dashboards and analytical frameworks to proactively identify issues, provide actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making especially around Rider analysis.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with local, regional, and global teams to address business challenges and ensure local insights inform broader strategies.
- Understand Customer Needs: Utilize data to deeply understand the needs of existing and prospective riders, identifying key use cases and experience drivers.
- Develop Value Propositions: Identify and refine compelling value propositions for target rider segments, aligning global product offerings with their needs.
- Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Collaborate with Operations and functional teams to define and implement effective go-to-market plans for rider initiatives.
- Solve Problems Analytically: Partnering with EMEA Central Ops, use data to identify root causes of issues, drive decisions, and implement effective solutions to improve product and feature performance.
- Manage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships and effectively manage stakeholders across various Operations and functional teams.
- Drive Projects: Independently manage and execute multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Min 3 years of operations management experience, ideally in a tech-driven or similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong ownership.
- Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace operations, supply and demand management, or rider lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau).
