About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager to lead our brand-awarded British Gastropub - Dhow&Anchor team in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Organise and supervise the day-to-day operations of the F&B Outlet and ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner (which is consistent with operating policies and procedures and delivers service excellence).
• Monitor the profitability of the outlet. Identify areas and gaps for continuous improvements, provide recommendations and/or solutions to improve them and assist with implementing such corrective measures. Take initiatives to sustain them.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
• Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages and service offered to guests and escalating any major problems/ complaints to senior management to ensure high service quality as per Jumeirah group quality standards.
• Work closely with Outlet General Manager to understand and achieve financial and department targets. Understand the department budget and financial statements and provide inputs where necessary. Assist Outlet General Manager in achieving maximum revenue and profit in line with budgeted and forecasted projections.
• Motivate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for participating in change initiatives, programs and projects considering best practices, improvement of processes and productivity improvement.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an Outlet Manager role with a strong F&B background in a standalone / branded restaurant, gastropub or sports bar background is preferred.
• Fluent in English and an additional international language is a plus.
• College Degree in Hospitality, Business or any relevant field from an accredited College or University.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Good financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and increasing profitability.
