What the job involves
- Help secure and deploy venture debt investments across the GCC market, leveraging local and international relationships
- Work closely with the existing global team, with plans to expand and build a dedicated team in the GCC
- Play a critical role in sourcing and managing deals within the ecosystem in the GCC, with a focus on deploying out of their venture debt fund
- Engage with high-profile VC and PE relationships to assist with fundraising efforts, while cherry-picking investments from top-performing companies
- Oversee the firm’s ongoing investments, ensuring high returns, and contributing to long-term strategic initiatives
- A senior-level candidate with a strong background in venture debt/ private credit and investment ecosystems within the GCC
- Proven experience in sourcing and managing deals, particularly within venture debt or similar financial services
- International exposure, combined with local UAE market expertise, is highly valued
- Technical skills in investment management and deal execution are critical, though personality fit and relationship-building capabilities are key hiring criteria
- This role will not initially involve leading a team, but the candidate will have the opportunity to build out a team in the region over time
