General Overview

Hala is a first-of-its-kind partnership between RTA and Careem mandated to revolutionize Dubais taxis industry between the

government and the private sector. A Joint venture between RTA (51%) and Careem (49%). Over an exhaustive ramp up of

Dubai Taxis being part of the Hala ecosystem, equating to 90% of Dubais total taxi fleet with plans to grow.

Job Summary

We are looking for two enthusiastic Customer Research Interns to support our subscription program campaign through cold calling. The role involves reaching out to high-value customers (HVs) and converting them to a subscription trial program. Interns will be responsible for making a minimum of 40 calls per day, explaining the benefits of the subscription, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Strong communication skills, persistence, and a results-driven mindset are essential. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer engagement and sales conversion. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer calls to gather feedback and insights.
  • Engage with high-value customers/VIPs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Build rapport and ensure a seamless customer interaction experience.
  • Document customer feedback accurately and analyze common trends.
  • Work closely with the research and customer experience teams to report findings.
  • Identify key pain points and areas for service improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer data.
  • Provide recommendations based on customer responses and feedback trends.

Key Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally.
  • Previous experience in customer handling (call center, customer support, or research preferred).
  • Ability to handle VIP customers with care and maintain excellent service standards.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting structured conversations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong listening and note-taking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and analyze customer feedback effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or Google Sheets for documenting responses.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
