What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a passionate People (HR) professional that can hit the ground running and support the set up of our new office in Dubai, to help us amplify and ingrain our culture as we continue our rapid growth. Our Dubai office opened in October and this will be our first People Ops Manager locally so it’s an excellent opportunity to support the growth of a new hub in an international technology company.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leading People Operations (inc. payroll, work permits, employee lifecycle, HR Helpdesk, etc) for the Dubai office
  • Establishing local HR policies and processes to ensure we remain compliant with local legislation
  • Lead the on-boarding, offboarding, life cycle/events processes, payroll processing, benefits administration, work visa applications, new hire orientation and other HR administrative processes
  • Overseeing all office related activities, ensuring the office is running smoothly and our employees have the amenities they need in order to be productive
  • First point of contact for managers and employees for all local HR related questions on HR programs, policies and other HR related matters
  • Lead the development of employee engagement plans and drive increased employee engagement rates in the Dubai office
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment legislation, ensuring that policies and practices remain up-to-date and compliant
  • Partner with compensation & benefits to ensure that our compensation and benefits offerings are competitive in the local market
  • Act as the escalation point for employee relations issues, ensuring cases are dealt with promptly and in line with company policy and relevant employment law.


Role Requirements

  • Experience of setting up HR policies and processes in the UAE
  • Experience of operating within an international company
  • Prior experience in leading a team is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Fluent communication skills in English
