Periodontics

As a Periodontist, you will work alongside our team of experts to diagnose and treat gum disease, perform dental implants, and provide cosmetic services. You will also have the opportunity to educate patients on proper oral hygiene and assist in developing treatment plans for long-term oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients' oral health and diagnose periodontal diseases
• Develop and implement treatment plans for gum disease, including scaling and root planing, gingivectomy, and gum grafting
• Perform dental implant surgeries and manage post-operative care
• Provide cosmetic procedures such as crown lengthening and gum contouring
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care to maintain healthy gums
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Utilize the latest technology and techniques to provide exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and document treatment plans and progress
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and advancements in periodontal care through continuing education and training.
  
  

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of a post-graduate program in Periodontology
• Valid state dental license and DEA certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using dental computer software and digital x-rays
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care and continuous learning and development.
