About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Photographer & Video Editor to join our team at Rayqube on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content and delivering professional video productions for various events and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Photography

• Plan, shoot, and deliver high-quality photographs for corporate events, conferences, and promotional activities
• Capture candid moments, formal portraits, and detailed event coverage
• Ensure proper lighting, composition, and technical execution in various event environments
• Manage photography equipment and maintain backup systems during events
• Deliver edited photographs within agreed timelines
  
  

Video Production & Editing

• Film events using professional videography techniques and equipment
• Create engaging video content including highlight reels, promotional videos, and event documentation
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using industry-standard software
• Add graphics, titles, transitions, and audio enhancement as required
• Optimize videos for various platforms and distribution channels
• Collaborate with team members on creative concepts and project requirements
  
  

General Duties

• Maintain and care for photography and videography equipment
• Coordinate with event organizers and stakeholders for smooth execution
• Meet project deadlines and deliver content according to specifications
• Provide creative input and suggestions for visual storytelling
• Archive and organize digital assets systematically
  
  

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in photography and video editing
• Degree in Photography, Film Production, Media Studies, or related field
• Familiarity with social media content creation and optimization
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation
• Proven track record of working on events (corporate events, conferences, weddings, or similar)
• Proficiency in photography techniques including lighting, composition, and post-processing
• Expert-level skills in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects)
• Understanding of different video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Own professional-grade camera equipment (DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting equipment)
• Access to reliable video editing hardware and software
• Portfolio demonstrating event photography and videography work
• Ability to work in fast-paced event environments
  
  

Legal Requirements

• Valid UAE work visa/permit (mandatory)
• Legal authorization to work in the UAE for the contract duration
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
• Available to join immediately for a 6 months contract
