Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PICU department, overseeing the care and treatment of critically ill pediatric patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists in various disciplines to provide comprehensive care for patients.
• Supervise and guide junior medical staff, ensuring quality and standard of care.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of pediatric intensive care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' medical histories and progress.
• Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment, and management.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to the hospital's academic and training programs.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
  
  

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution, with a specialization in pediatric intensive care.
• Board certification or equivalent in pediatric intensive care.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a reputable hospital setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
• Ability to adapt to a multicultural and diverse work environment.
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
