The Role
Primary Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, using project management software, Primavera P6 - Prepare and implement standard methods of delay analysis (e.g., Time Slice Analysis, Time Impact Analysis) for claims related to Extension of Time and Prolongation Costs. - Load anticipated costs into programme activities and generate cash flow projections to provide the Senior Management and project team with current project status and cost forecasts. - Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met. - Allocate required manpower and equipment to programme activities, generating tables and histograms of anticipated project requirements. - Coordinate with the Project team to process this data and create schedules for manpower and equipment, which will be forwarded to the Operations Department. - Load major quantities into programme activities and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) as agreed with the Project Manager. - Supervise, review, and assist Planning Engineers in preparing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports, as well as Look-Ahead Schedules. - Manage a team of Junior Planning Engineers to address the project planning requirements. - Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Coordinate with the Procurement Department to provide necessary information regarding material requirements and dates for site delivery. - Lead and present Weekly Progress Meetings and Presentations to update the Engineer and Client on project status. - Identify delay situations and, in coordination with the Commercial Manager, maintain a list of delay events/areas of concern for inclusion in Progress Reports. - Prepare contract letters and responding to correspondence from the Engineer, Employer and Subcontractors. - Review and assessment of all Subcontractor Baseline and EOT claims - Review all relevant documents (e.g., Letters, MOM, Requests for Information, Site Inspection Requests, Variation Orders, Drawings) to identify those related to delay events for the preparation of Extension of Time claims.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering - Minimum15 years of experience (minimum 5 years in similar position) in Building (Villas) and Infrastructure projects - Excellent command of written and spoken English. - Proficiency in pertinent software applications such as Primavera P6, MS Office, Auto CAD etc.
