Role Purpose

To estimate a timescale for a project and to ensure that the outlined deadlines are met. Work closely with site managers and other engineers to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies

Key Accountabilities

amendments and alternatives during the course of construction, to meet or improve on project

target under the supervision of the planning manager.

  • Prepare reports as required by the Planning Manager on all aspects of the project, including the

issuance of weekly, monthly reports to monitor work progress.

  • Monitor project schedule and budget during construction through site visits and report updates to

Planning Manager.

  • Perform logic network planning using Critical Path Method for the development of all plans and

schedules.

  • Prepare the project’s baseline schedule/ three weeks ahead of schedule according to internal

standards, technical and contractual requirement.

  • Review project's baseline schedule/ three weeks ahead of schedule with the Project Manager for

final approval.

  • Monitor the implementation of the schedule and the three weeks ahead of schedules (including

the progress of execution, the subcontractors work, the shop drawings, materials submissions

and follow-up on procurement activities as well as the provision and use of resources).

  • Point out and analyses any identified delays/discrepancies, propose appropriate solutions to

prevent exceeding the project completion date.

  • Participate in the development of the commissioning plan into a fully detailed schedule outlining

resources and system completion strategy with the operations team.

  • Monitor the Sub-contractors performance to assure that they meet project overall performance

requirements.

  • Progress Reporting to all key stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
  • Report all violations and resolved on time
  • Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field.

12+ years experience in the domain of project management, project control and planning.
