Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Plant and Equipment Workshop Manager. The Plant and Equipment Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and service of plant machinery and equipment. Day-to-day tasks will include managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, scheduling routine maintenance, and conducting inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation. The role also involves maintaining records of equipment service history and coordinating with other departments to ensure availability of functional equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery and equipment
• Degree / Diploma in Auto Mechanics
• Absolute believer on preventive maintenance discipline.
• Very strong ability to diagnose, analyse and troubleshoot
• Expert knowledge of tower cranes & hoists, earthmoving, building site machinery, and heavy / light transport vehicle maintenance.
• Team management and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Proficiency in scheduling and conducting equipment inspections
• Ability to maintain detailed records of equipment service history
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Relevant technical certification or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Ability to work on-site full time in Dubai
• UAE Driving License
