Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a packaging manufacturing company specializing in innovative solutions such as perfume pumps and aerosol valves. the company is looking to hire a Plant Manager to oversee production operations and ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across the manufacturing facility.
Role Overview:
The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all daily operations of the plant, ensuring compliance with quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines. The role requires strong leadership in production planning, process optimization, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and oversee daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and safety.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) for productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing, and cost-saving projects.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and R&D teams to align production with business objectives.
- Manage and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and improve plant reliability.
- Prepare and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant management or senior operations leadership role within packaging, plastics, FMCG, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage diverse plant operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with business teams.
