Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Portfolio Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to investment strategy development, and play a key role in driving the performance of sustainable, decentralised infrastructure investments. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience in portfolio monitoring and asset management gained within an infrastructure investment manager, project developer or financial institution.

What you'll do:
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and report on the performance of a diverse portfolio of decentralised energy transition assets. You will conduct detailed analyses of asset performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Risk management will also fall under your purview as you assess potential disruptions and implement strategies to mitigate them. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to communicate asset performance updates. Your innovative thinking will be put to good use as you identify opportunities to optimise portfolio performance through technological innovations or strategic partnerships.
- Regularly monitor and report on the performance of a diverse portfolio of decentralised energy transition assets
- Conduct in-depth analysis of asset performance metrics to assess their performance vs expectation - identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
- Assess and manage risks associated with the operation and maintenance of energy transition assets, implementing strategies to mitigate potential disruptions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to communicate asset performance updates, address concerns, and coordinate maintenance activities
- Identify opportunities to optimise the performance and efficiency of the portfolio through technological innovations, operational enhancements, or strategic partnerships
- Assist in the development and execution of investment strategies to optimise portfolio performance and achieve investment objectives
What you bring:
The ideal Portfolio Analyst brings a wealth of experience from previous roles within an investment manager, project developer or financial institution. She possesses strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software. Her deep understanding of infrastructure asset classes, investment structures, and regulatory frameworks will be invaluable in this role. She is an excellent communicator who can convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively. She thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in portfolio monitoring and asset management gained within an investment manager, project developer or financial institution
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software
