Power BI Analyst (Front-End Focus) Dubai

Our client based in Dubai is looking for Power BI Analysts:

• Start: mid October
• Location: on-site in Dubai
• Full time
• Language: English and Arabic
• Duration: 6 months plus extension
• Food sector
• Rate: up to 250 USD per day

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Analyst to join our data and analytics business team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that transform raw data into actionable insights. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, business acumen, and user-centric design thinking.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query
• Experience with Azure, SharePoint, and Databricks
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and UX/UI design

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard & Report Development: Design and build visually compelling, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Data Modeling: Develop and maintain robust data models using star and snowflake schema patterns; implement calculated columns and measures using DAX.
• Front-End Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and usability of dashboards, including layout design, drill-through actions, bookmarks, and custom visuals.
• Data Integration: Connect and transform data from multiple sources (Databricks, SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.) using Power Query and ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• PowerBI Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification
