PR Specialist (Events) - Contract

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Events Company based in Dubai, UAE. Our client is looking for a PR and Partnerships Specialist to lead strategic public relations initiatives and strengthen relationships with media, influencers, and other key stakeholders. This role involves developing PR strategies, overseeing media relations, building partnerships, and managing communications to support the brand’s growth and event success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PR Strategies: Implement effective PR strategies that communicate event themes, brand messages, and company achievements to the public.
• Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, coordinate press activities, and manage the release of press materials, briefings, and media kits.
• Partnerships and Influencer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with influencers and other strategic partners, negotiating partnerships that align with event objectives.
• Monitor Media Coverage: Track media exposure, analyze results, and adjust PR strategies to maximize coverage and engagement.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the marketing and event teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all communication channels.
• Event Management for PR Goals: Plan and execute events aimed at enhancing public relations and partner engagement.
• Primary PR Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for public relations and external communications activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years in PR, media relations, or partnership management, preferably in the events or entertainment industry with strong network of media and influencer contacts.
• Familiarity with PR tools and social media platforms for brand promotion.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for creating press materials and strategies.
• Effective negotiation skills, problem-solving skills and adaptability to refine strategies in response to dynamic situations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
