As a Pre Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the pre-construction phase of a project, from initial planning and budgeting to permitting and approvals.
Job Responsibility
- Develop and implement pre-construction strategies, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulations
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
- Manage the bidding process and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities and regulatory bodies
- Monitor and control project costs, schedule, and quality throughout the pre-construction phase
- Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in pre-construction management, with a strong understanding of construction processes and regulations
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address complex issues during the pre-construction phase
