We are working with a prestigious global investor who is looking for a Principal focused on consumer investments to join its growing private equity team. This position will look at deals globally with a focus on European, Asian and North American markets. We are working with a prestigious global investor who is looking for a Principal focused on consumer investments to join its growing private equity team. This position will look at deals globally with a focus on European, Asian and North American markets. The role presents an opportunity to work with a world-class investment team on high-impact transactions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What the job involves
- Lead and execute private equity transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, structuring, and deal negotiations
- Develop and maintain deep sector expertise in the consumer industry to identify emerging trends and opportunities
- Oversee the evaluation and screening of investment opportunities, providing actionable insights to the team
- Support the team in initiating and developing relationships with target companies, advisors, and other stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure high standards of performance and collaboration
- Present investment recommendations and updates to senior leadership and the investment committee
- Proven experience in a top tier private equity fund within the consumer sector or a generalist team with consumer exposure
- Strong track record of initiating, executing, and closing deals in highly competitive markets
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
- Academic credentials from a top-tier university; MBA or CFA qualification is a plus
- International experience, particularly in European markets, is highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and work in a high-performing, global team
