Job Description

We are currently seeking a Principal Electrical Designer , reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

• Lead and oversee the creation of detailed electrical designs for FEED and pre-FEED projects within the oil and gas industry.
• Utilize SP3D software to expertly develop and refine electrical design models and drawings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Conduct thorough design reviews and provide expert technical guidance to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, reports, and drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Ensure designs adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Participate in site visits and assessments as necessary to gather data and validate designs.
• Support the Lead Electrical Engineer in project execution and delivery.

Qualifications: Bachelors or Diploma

Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)

Main skills: - Over 20 years of experience in electrical design within the oil and gas industry.

• Demonstrated expertise in detailed design for FEED and pre-FEED projects.
• Essential proficiency in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) software.
• Extensive understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
