Principal Engineer / Associate - Water

WSP are looking to speak with experienced and dynamic Principal Engineers or Associate level Engineers to join our Water Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional to lead and deliver high-profile water and water design projects, contributing to the region’s sustainable water infrastructure. We are looking for candidates with experience in hydrology or water network design projects.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Lead the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects, including hydrology, stormwater drainage, potable water, and wastewater networks.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Conduct design reviews, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Engage with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders to align project requirements.
• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and project bidding.
• Drive innovation and sustainability in water engineering solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 12+ years of experience in water engineering, focusing on hydrology or water network design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Water Engineering, or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng, PE, or equivalent) preferred.
• Expertise in software such as EPANET, InfoWorks, SWMM, HEC-RAS, MIKE, or similar.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations and authorities (e.g., ADDC, ADSSC, EAD, ADM, etc.) is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
