About the Role:
We are in search of a Principal Engineer - Operations Research (OR) is a key technical leader within the Operations Research function of the System Design department. This position is responsible for driving the development of operational models, conducting detailed analyses, and providing valuable insights to optimize the effectiveness of our missile products.

This position is responsible for driving the development of operational models, conducting detailed analyses, and providing valuable insights to optimize the effectiveness of our missile products.
Key Accountabilities:
- Operational Analysis of our products
- Develop Operational Models of our Products
- Develop Scenarios air land and sea
- Run Monte-Carlo Simulations to determine operational effectives
- Report to product line and CTO
- Demonstrate exceptional technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Matlab, and utilization of SimCore for executing complex simulations and analyses.
- Conduct rigorous operational analyses and develop sophisticated operational models to assess the performance and capabilities of our missile systems.
- Design and develop diverse air, land, and sea scenarios for simulation, ensuring accuracy and relevance to real-world operational environments.
- Conduct Monte-Carlo simulations to quantify uncertainties and assess the operational effectiveness of our missile systems.
- Analyze simulation results and provide detailed reports, offering actionable recommendations to enhance product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Operations Research findings into the product development process, ensuring alignment with engineering objectives
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation within the Operations Research function.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers, sharing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations Research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Preferred: 12+ years of experience and Prior experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Matlab, Full System Simulation, Ansys STK or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of missile systems and their operational dynamics
- Published research in the field of Operations Research or related disciplines.
