Principal Estimating Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Principal Estimating Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of the Department to join our team based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

• Cost Estimation and Analysis:
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for EPC projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary data and insights.
• Project Evaluation and Risk Assessment:
• Evaluate project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact cost estimates.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and incorporate them into cost estimates.
• Proposal Development:
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid documents for submission to clients.
• Ensure all proposals are competitive, accurate, and align with company objectives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists to ensure alignment on project goals and estimates.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss estimates and project scope.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in cost estimation.
• Implement process improvements to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications: Bachelors or Diploma

Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)
