Principal Program Director

We’re seeking a self-starter with strong program-level delivery experience to join Anaplan as our first Principal Engagement Director in the region—a unique opportunity to shape the success of some of our most strategic customers.

You’ll bring a proven track record leading complex implementations, ideally within Supply Chain, Financial Planning & Analysis, or Workforce Planning domains. You thrive operating at the intersection of delivery and advisory—scoping, negotiating, managing escalations, and acting as a trusted partner to both customer and internal stakeholders. You excel in engaging stakeholders from C-level executives to end users, influencing decisions as a trusted advisor.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can run multiple enterprise programs, ensuring delivery within budget, scope, and recover projects that are off track.

Your Role

• Lead end-to-end Anaplan deployments with internal teams and partners, ensuring governance, accurate scoping, and uncovering hidden assumptions.
• Be the primary point of contact for delivery, aligning with customer stakeholders from operational leads to the C-suite.
• Navigate complex programs, ensuring delivery excellence while managing scope, risk, budget, and resources.
• Anticipate and drive key project decisions on design, testing, timelines, and change management.
• Use your negotiation skills to build consensus, resolve conflicts, and maintain momentum.
• Champion the "Anaplan way" methodology to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
• Provide reporting on project status and portfolio health to internal and external leadership.

Your Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of program or project management experience across complex enterprise initiatives.
• Proven experience recovering complex projects led by partners or vendors. We want to see the proven ability to deliver—and recover—large-scale projects within tight timelines and budgets.
• Ideally we would like to see domain expertise in Supply Chain, FP&A, or Workforce Planning but this is not essential.
• Strong customer engagement skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels and become the trusted advisor.
• Agile project delivery experience is essential for this role.
