Principal Solutions Architect

Job Purpose

The Principal Solutions Architect is dedicated to ensure presales functions are managed effectively and efficiently to meet the organization's targets in addition to managing strategic accounts towards sales growth and revenue.

Job Description

Leadership

Service Consultancy

• Understand customer requirements and fulfil them with the proper solutions.
• Act as the point of contact for pre-sales customer engagements.
• Advise Sales, Marketing, and Service Delivery team on the deliverables of services projects by developing detailed scopes of work, and clearly present complex ideas and solutions.
  
  

Account Planning

• Provide regular reports on account performance and keep the technology heatmap updated by identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage strategic enterprise and government accounts and develop relations with key decision makers to secure large-scale deals and develop long-term partnerships.
• Identify different opportunities for cross-sell and upsell through the proper technology heatmap and account planning with sales team.
  
  

Solution Approach

• Develop the technical architecture, scope of work, and design of cloud and hybrid environments.
• Script technical proposals/ responses for Cloud/Managed Services Opportunities.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

Business Enablement

• Develop different technical materials and educate customers on the value of the Bespin Global proposition.
• Perform webinars on the emerging cloud technologies.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' offers to position the company's solutions.
• Participate in the Rhythm of Business motions and critical business engagements with strategic partners along with the vendor alliance and account managers.
  
  

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to enhance collaboration and sales opportunities.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Act as customer consultant of the new trends and services and advise on the best model to adopt while launching a new service.
• Serve as a key advocate for the products and services set in discussions with potential customers and partners to direct opinions and inspire action.
  
  

Compliance

• Comply with any filing requirements imposed by local governing authorities.
• Comply with all tax reporting and payment requirements.
• Comply with the group guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
• Comply with the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 requirements and actively participate in regular training and audits to ensure continuous alignment with the standard.

Job Specification

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Information Systems or any related field.
  
  

Professional Certifications

• Azure Solutions Architect – Expert, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect (at least one certification Is mandatory)
• ITIL V4 (Preferred)
• Cloud Network Specialty (Preferred)
• Cloud Security Specialty (Preferred)
• Leadership and Management Certifications (Preferred)

• Security: Security solutions (Firewalls, WAF, IPS/IDS, DLP, NDR, SIEM, etc...)
