Procurement Coordinator - UAE National

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a United Arab Emirates/Kingdom of Saudi Arabia -based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker’s, Somewhere, Shalwa, Kumo and Public.

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Procurement Coordinator, a pivotal team member responsible for managing vendor relationships and streamlining the supply chain process across our various business units. This role focuses on ensuring cost-effective purchasing, meticulous contract management, and the timely acquisition of goods and services to support our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices.
• Conducting research to identify and evaluate new products, suppliers and market trends.
• Collaborating with project teams to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Preparing and managing procurement schedules, tracking deliveries and ensuring quality controls.
• Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Resolving any issues or conflicts related to purchasing and delivery.
• Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to minimize costs and maximize value.
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities and transactions.
