In This Role, You Will
- Manage and support the procurement operations activities for the assigned category.
- Communicate with sourcing, contracts & vendor management, suppliers, freight forwarders and inventory stores at all times to ensure that the customer department is fully involved in the procurement process.
- Update business units on changes to the standard procurement operations procedures that will have an impact on the business unit’s operations.
- Provide the required advice to customer departments on the suitable ordering process and payment options.
- Prepare the asset disposal bid tabulation and terms and conditions, to ensure that the Groups' best commercial position is attained.
- Ensure that the operations process has been followed as per the company standards and report any discrepancy to Procurement & Logistics Senior Manager
- Report any discrepancy to the agreed service levels to the relevant stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Procurement: Non-aircraft: 5+ Years
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent):
- Experience in International Supply Chain Management & Procurement Operations
- Excellent customer Service and a proven team player
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience and confidence to adequately deal with senior personnel
- Generic applications/systems knowledge
- Recommended International Qualifications: MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, CSMP, CPSM, IPSCMI qualifications (CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO) -
