Job Description

Strategic MIS Reporting & Analytics Leadership

  • Spearhead the design and implementation of robust MIS frameworks and executive dashboards to support procurement strategy, performance monitoring, and decision-making. Deliver data-backed insights that influence category strategies, supplier negotiations, and executive reporting.
  • SQL-Based Data Extraction & Transformation:
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, join, and filter large datasets from relational databases, data warehouses, or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SQL Server). Prepare datasets for advanced analysis and reporting in Excel.
  • Connect Excel to SQL databases and other data sources to enable real-time data refreshes, ensuring reports are consistently up-to-date and accurate. Maintain reusable data models for recurring analysis needs.
  • Ensure data consistency and reliability by validating SQL outputs and applying structured logic in Excel reports. Monitor and improve data accuracy across systems and reporting layers.

Power BI Reporting Excellence

  • Lead the development of dynamic, automated dashboards using Power BI, integrating data from ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion, Maximo) and external sources.
  • Deliver actionable procurement insights through intuitive visualizations for leadership, category managers, and finance teams.
  • Experience integrating Power BI with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion.

Advanced Excel Automation & Analytics

  • Create dynamic, user-friendly reports and dashboards using advanced Excel functionalities such as PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, macros, and VBA to monitor KPIs, spending trends, PR/PO tracking, and supplier performance.
  • Develop and automate recurring reports for executive and operational use. Minimize manual intervention by building robust data pipelines and formulas to ensure real-time updates and accuracy.
  • Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (Oracle Fusion, SAP, Maximo, etc.) to identify trends, variances, risks, and cost-saving opportunities. Present insights in a clear and actionable format to senior stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain Excel-based scorecards for supplier evaluation, compliance monitoring, and SLA tracking.
  • Drive reporting efficiency by minimizing manual efforts through continuous process improvements. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data accuracy, and implement best practices in Excel-based modeling and documentation

Data Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Drive procurement data integrity and standardization across systems by enforcing data management best practices.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of data used in procurement decisions, risk assessments, and audit reviews.

Stakeholder Collabration

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and Procurement Category Teams to gather business requirements, and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
  • Present findings to the team which influence cost savings, sourcing pipeline, and supplier performance initiatives.

Digital Transformation & Process Optimization

  • Lead and support automation initiatives and system enhancements to improve the procurement reporting landscape.
  • Identify opportunities for process digitization, dashboard consolidation, and analytics modernization aligned with procurement transformation goals.

SRM Support

  • Lead reporting initiatives in support of SRM activities, including supplier performance monitoring, onboarding progress, segmentation analysis, and compliance tracking. Develop structured dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into supplier risk, contractual adherence, and strategic sourcing alignment.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting supplier master data across systems.
  • Establish and enforce data quality controls to support reliable reporting, compliance tracking, and informed decision-making across procurement and supplier management functions.

Education And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.

Years Of Experience

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement analytics, MIS reporting, or procurement operations within complex or large-scale environments.

Knowledge, Languages And Skills

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, advanced Excel, and ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or SAP. Advanced Excel and experience with ERP systems (Oracle fusion, Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
  • Expert-level skills in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Good understanding of Oracle fusion data models and subject areas.
  • Good understanding of procurement processes and KPIs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills is required
