Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for our company. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and ethical standards
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • UAE driving license is preferred


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations and ethical standards
