Procurement Officer - Emtelle

Emtelle is seeking a qualified and motivated Purchase Officer to join our team! In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for our company's operations.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential suppliers for various materials, goods, and services.
• Evaluate and compare quotes from vendors based on price, quality, delivery time, and other relevant factors.
• Negotiate favorable contracts and pricing terms with suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders and ensure proper communication with vendors.
• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities, including supplier information, pricing, and contracts.
• Manage inventory levels and initiate reorders when necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the procurement function.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or procurement or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Fibre Optics procurement: 1 year (Required)
• Poly olefins procurement: 1 year (Required)
