KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Regional ownership of Smart Residential product portfolio in coordination with EMEIA, Suppliers, Specifications, Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Train the technical/engineering, sales team, partners.
  • Roll out the new products, with launch plan while maintaining existing products profitability in the ME Region.
  • Develop and maintain marketing and technical data.
  • Benchmarking competition on continues bases, provide quarterly update.
  • Follow up on monthly, quarterly, annual and finalize with Sales team, FC and Budget.
  • Competitor analysis and understanding of market landscape related to responsible product categories.
  • A ctively participate at the ASSA ABLOY EMEIA workgroups, as required, in regional industry-related professional organizations to gather feedback and embrace new trends and standards.
  • Drive and coordinate with local teams to support projects, OEM business, e-Commerce, wholesalers and retailers.
  • Develop and maintain product technical documents and specifications for Smart Residential Products.
  • Develop and maintain the technical support processes in the region.
  • Develop call center solution for Yale end users in the region in cooperation with the agents/distributors.
  • To standardize the best technical support services through local partners for the end users in each country in the region.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues from technical point of view for each market along with Solution Plan.
  • Create and implement a local warranty policy to ensure the best after-sales services.
  • Create an additional warranty policy to ensure best in class customer satisfaction and generate recurring revenue.
  • Keep sure that Yale Smart Locks Demo blocks and other brands are well presented and working properly according to the guidelines in the showrooms, projects and marketplace.
  • Responsible for Beta & Alpha Testing projects.
  • Act as a liaison between distributors, quality, engineering and manufacturing / suppliers.
  • To demonstrate the smart locks whenever needed in projects.
  • Support Business Development and Product Management from a product point of view the transition from mechanical to electronic products.
  • Technical link between system integrators and central SDL team.
  • To ensure that all technical documents are available in English and local languages.
  • Produce and keep updated product’s installation manuals and troubleshooting documents.
  • Support Sales Team in the strategic markets through effective technical support strategy.
  • Implement and follow complete product lifecycle strategy.
  • Actively coordinate with marketing department in promotional activities of Smart Residential products

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Marketing/ Product role
  • Negotiation, organization and planning
  • Excellent command in MS Office (Word/Excel/Power Point)
  • Understanding of IoT ecosystems
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills; fluent in spoken and written English
