Job Overview

As a Product Owner at Emirates NBD, your role is to participate in the implementation and collaborate with main stakeholders to create new products and enhance wealth offering across regions, segments and channels, with a focus on Execution Only, Advisory and Discretionary Management Portfolios, across global and local equities, mutual funds, bonds, structured products, derivatives and other investment classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role includes accountability in terms of adoption, customer experience, processes and business impact across the various regions, segments and products collaboration with RBWM and group stakeholders.
  • Manage ideation and end to end transformation and all projects and enhancements right from conceptualization up to implementation leveraging on agile operating model principles and in collaboration with the Technology, Wealth Management Teams and support functions.
  • Design digital products and experiences in collaboration with the squad engineers, solution architects, designers and the product teams, leading detailed analysis on possible ways of implementation to achieve the desired business goals.
  • Coordinate and work closely with IT department and prepare designs for functional specifications.
  • Analyze functional requirements and collect all requirements and document processes.
  • Tracking, measuring, and reporting all data points and key milestones that will support the execution of this strategy, delivering the defined ROI and business impact.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory, risk, compliance and internal governance policies when executing on the platform growth strategy.
  • Work in close collaboration with the cybersecurity team to ensure adequate protection to the bank and the customers against cyber and fraud attacks.
  • Identify and map new business processes required for the platform to operate, manage stakeholders and liaise with units across the bank as needed.
  • Motivate and manage effectively and efficiently the various squads and teams required to deliver the business outcomes.
  • Plan user trainings along with HR team, prepare training calendars and ensure that all training pre requisites like training environment, manuals etc. are in place. Ensure that all training materials related to system changes are created well in advance published on the local intranet and knowledge management module also.
  • Develop professional relationship with stakeholders, including vendors, partners, customers.

Skills And Experience

  • Graduate in Engineering / Computer Science / Business / Information system / Economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in banking
  • 3+ years of experience in building digital experience
  • 3+ years of experience within wealth management,digital banking or fintech
  • Understanding of investment products, digital flows, risk assessments and customer experience
  • International exposure is a plus
  • Proficient in tools, mainly Jira, Confluence, Figma and Excel
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent technical, analytical and user experience skills in order to help design the products and experiences end to end
  • Ability to communicate insights in an engagement with stakeholders at various levels
  • Experience in front-end and back-end integration, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of OMS/PMS workflows and architecture.
  • Knowledge of risk management tools and systems, particularly those supporting Lombard lending and derivatives trading.
