Synopsis
As Product Owner Cargo System, you will lead the delivery of bug fixes, enhancements, and new releases for Etihad Cargo’s Systems. Collaborating with DT&I and stakeholders, you will align business requirements with system capabilities and drive adoption. You will oversee user acceptance testing, monitor user actions, and implement key KPIs to enhance system performance and usability.
Leveraging automation and data models, you will optimize commercial decisions and revenue outcomes. By ensuring data quality and fostering collaboration, you will enable continuous improvement and scalable Revenue Management solutions for the Cargo business.

Accountabilities
- Prioritize and coordinate the delivery of bug fixes, enhancements, and new releases of Cargo Revenue Management (RM) systems in collaboration with DT&I, and Cargo stakeholders (both Commercial and Operations).
- Liaise with inter-functional teams to understand business requirements and incorporate in the RM product roadmap to ensure its smooth adoption across the team.
- Manage user acceptance testing of Cargo Revenue Management Systems and provide guidance on scope and test scenarios to various stakeholders involved in systems’ upgrades.
- Support our Cargo RM systems with analysis and calibration.
- Monitor the user actions (entry conditions decisions, capacity forecast influences, overbooking strategies) in the systems and provide feedback to users on their impact.
- Devise and manage effective KPI metrics to monitor systems’ usage and take necessary steps to improve systems usability.
- Drive automation in Cargo systems by developing models to take automated actions or implementing machine learning techniques.
- Develop innovative data models using analytical tools to make optimal commercial decisions, with a focus on maximizing contribution.
- Conduct all phases of the projects (ideation, building the models, converting models into solutions, conducting successful implementation and change management).
- Manage data quality assurance of inputs and outputs of Cargo RM Systems interacting closely with Cargo RM and Pricing Analysts and DT&I
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics or MBA
- 5 years of experience in Revenue Management systems or Operations Research or statistical modeling, ideally within the cargo or aviation industry
- Proven track record in managing product roadmaps, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience in the usage of tools such as R, Python, Tableau, Databricks or other equivalent tools.
- Experience in automation, machine learning techniques, and data modelling.
