Job Purpose:

Responsible for leading the shift team and managing all the shift operations focused on optimal performance and process optimization while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental norms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth full plant operation with a focus on equipment reliability.
• Lead the shift team and must have sound knowledge of operation and troubleshooting/RCA.
• Ensure all quality norms are being met.
• Should have experience and sound knowledge of CCR operation, Interlocks, and trend analysis.
• Ability to prepare production reports with analysis of deviations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out under specified HSE norms.
• Track stock of Raw materials, Semi-finished, and finished products with reporting to concerns.
• Ensure all operational SOPs are implemented.
• Be involved in process optimization.
• Ensure the shutdown activities happen on schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma Chemical Engineering/B.Sc. in Chemistry.
• 5- 10 years of production experience in a cement factory.
• Process knowledge of different equipment in the cement industry.
• Communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Time management skills.
